Installation Step 5:

To start this step, please click the Next button on the Select Typical Components window shown in Figure 4. That should move you to the Select Additional Components screen shown in Figure 5. Please notice this screen starts with the 23,559-KB installation footprint from Step 4, above.

Figure 5. Select Additional Components Screen Shot

As discussed above, Net2Phone is bloat-ware. So, un-check Net2Phone in the Select Additional Components window. That reduces the installation footprint to 22,702-KB. You can leave the remainder of the default selections in this screen as they are. Simply click on Next to move on to Step 6.

There are no additional component selections in the Linux installation. Nor is there a program folder to select. So, in Linux you will go directly from Step 4 to Step 7.

Installation Step 6:

You now should be up to the Select Program Folder screen shown in Figure 6. Once again we recommend that you depart from the default setting here and change the Program Folder text box to contain Netscape 6-0. As explained above, we do not recommend that you replace any earlier installations of Netscape at this time. Using the folder name Netscape 6-0 helps to keep this Netscape 6.0 installation so isolated.

After you have changed the folder name or decided not to change it and are ready to move on, please click on Next in the Select Program Folder screen shown in Figure 6.
