Here, Netscape has set the default Save form data from web pages when completing forms preference option to save the form data. We are not sure just what this does privacy-wise. So, we decided to NOT save the forms data at this time -- better safe than sorry. Therefore un-X the Save form data from web pages when completing forms preference option. (Please see Figure 19.)

Basic Configuration Step 7:
Now please move your mouse pointer down the Advanced categories list to Passwords. The Netscape default preference here is to remember passwords. Initially we do not want Netscape to remember passwords so we un-check that preference option. Please see Figure 20.

Basic Configuration Step 8:
Next let's consider the Software Installation subcategory in the Advanced categories list. As discussed above, we do not recommend on-line software installations. Therefore, there is no reason to enable on-line software installation.
So, un-X Enable software installation here. Please see Figure 21.
