Basic Configuration Step 9:
Netscape has set the E-Mail module to open a start page downloaded from the Netscape Web site in the e-mail message area. We recommend that you turn that off.
So, please click on the Mail and Newsgroups category. Then in the Mail Start Page area, un-X the When mail launches, show the Start Page in the message area option. Please see Figure 22.

Basic Configuration Step 10:
The last preference covered in the Basic Configuration section of this tutorial deals with e-mail address books. Please click the arrow icon to the left of Mail and Newsgroups to open the Mail and Newsgroups sub-categories as shown in Figure 23. Then please click on Address Books.
